GRADUATE MANAGEMENT ADMISSION TEST (GMAT)
The graduate management admission test (GMAT) is a standardized assessment – delivered in English that help business schools assess the qualification for advanced study in business and management.
Schools use the test as one predictor of academic performance in an MBA or in other graduate management programme. The GMAT measures basic verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills that you have developed over a long period of time in education and work.
FORMAT AND TIMING
The GMAT consist of three main parts, the analytical writing assessment, the quantitative verbal and verbal section.
ANALYTICAL WRITING ASSESSMENT
The AWA consist of two separate writing tasks – analyses of an issue and analyses of an argument. You are allowed 30 mins to complete one.
QUANTITATIVE SECTION
This section contains 37 multiple choices of two questions types – Data sufficiency and Problem solving. You will be allowed a maximum of 75 mins to complete the entire section.
VERBAL SECTION
This section contains 41 multiple choice sections types – Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning and Sentences Corrections. You are allowed a maximum of
75 minutes to complete the entire section.
